DTL Advantage Lawn Care Program
Advantage is our most complete, long-term turf management program, built for consistent, high-end results year after year. As a monthly service running April through November, we're on your property every 25 to 35 days, which means nothing slips through in a four-week window. Over eight visits and sixteen services, nearly everything we offer is included by default, from soil enhancers to disease control, so your lawn gets comprehensive care without a list of add-ons to think about. It's our closest approach to estate-level turf. Request a property assessment today.

Sixteen services built in across eight visits means nearly everything is included by default. Fertilizer, biostimulants, weed and pest control, soil enhancers, and disease protection all work together, with far less to add on and nothing that falls through the cracks between visits.
Of all our programs, Advantage gives aeration and overseeding top priority. Since the tall fescue we grow doesn't spread on its own, seeding is what keeps density up year after year, and Advantage builds that in as a standing priority rather than an occasional add-on.
Southeastern PA sits in the transition zone, not quite cool climate, not quite warm, so our grass deals with real summer stress. Hot, humid stretches create the perfect conditions for brown patch, dollar spot, gray leaf spot, and other turf diseases to take hold. Summer solstice disease control is built into Advantage, with treatments that protect the lawn through the hottest, most disease-prone months so it doesn't skip a beat.
What Advantage Covers
Advantage is our premium, long-term program, designed so your lawn gets comprehensive care with almost nothing left to add on. Over eight visits and sixteen services, it includes:
- Balanced fertilizer and sea kelp and biological biostimulants throughout the season
- Broadleaf weed control and undesirable grass control
- Season-long grub control and surface-feeding insect control
- Aeration and overseeding, prioritized above all our other programs
- Spring and fall organic soil enhancers for year-round soil health
- Summer solstice disease control through the high-stress months
- Up to five bags of topsoil for troubled areas
- A soil test, optimal scheduling, and monthly billing built in
Soil amendments based on your soil test results are available as an add-on, since those depend on what your specific soil needs. Beyond that, Advantage brings nearly everything we offer under one program.

Who Advantage Is For
This program is built for homeowners who want the most complete, hands-off care and the strongest long-term results. It's a good match if you:
- Want comprehensive coverage without managing a list of add-ons
- Care about consistent, high-end turf quality year after year
- Prefer a program that stays ahead of problems rather than reacting to them
- Value year-round soil health as the foundation for a great lawn
Most clients build up to Advantage after a first year on Fresh Start, but if your lawn is already in solid shape, we may recommend starting here directly. If that's what you're after, Advantage delivers our closest approach to estate-level turf. If your lawn is already healthy and mainly needs upkeep, Essentials covers the fundamentals, and if it needs a first-year reset, Fresh Start is built for rebuilding. A property assessment is the clearest way to confirm the right fit.
Built on Diagnosis, Not a Default Schedule
Advantage is comprehensive, but comprehensive still means tailored to your lawn rather than applied by default. A soil test and optimal scheduling are built in so every treatment lands where and when it should. We factor in:
- Your grass type
- The lawn's overall condition through the season
- How much sun it gets
- Whether the lawn is irrigated
- What the soil test tells us about pH and nutrients
From there we sequence sixteen services around your lawn's needs rather than a fixed calendar. Some things, like crabgrass, we treat proactively every year because they're going to show up regardless. Others, like disease and insect activity, we monitor closely and respond to as conditions call for it. It's the same principle behind integrated pest management, and on a monthly cadence, we're positioned to catch it either way. That diagnosis-first approach is what turns a full program into consistent long-term results. And because it leans on soil health and biostimulants rather than blanket applications, it's better for your family, your pets, local pollinators, and the environment your lawn is part of.

Frequently Asked Questions
We don't provide mowing. Advantage is fully focused on the agronomic side of your lawn, fertilizer, weed and pest control, disease prevention, and soil health. We're happy to advise on mowing height and frequency as part of the program, since it does affect how well everything else performs.
Fresh Start is a first-year reset for lawns that need rebuilding, heavy weed pressure, thin turf, or a lawn new to professional care. Advantage is our premium, ongoing monthly program built for consistent, high-end results long term. Most clients move from Fresh Start into Advantage once that first year of rebuilding is done, though if a lawn is already in solid shape, we may recommend starting on Advantage directly.
We serve Downingtown and the surrounding Chester County area, as well as Southeastern Pennsylvania and parts of Delaware.
Advantage runs monthly from April through November, with eight visits and sixteen services included. Because we're on your property every 25 to 35 days, nothing has the chance to slip through in a four-week window.
Almost everything is built in by default. The one exception is soil amendments, which depend on your specific soil test results, so those are available as an add-on if your lawn needs them.
Yes. A lot of our Advantage clients started with lawns that were already healthy, and the difference still shows. Being on a property every four to five weeks instead of every six to eight means we catch changes in real time instead of after they've already set in. It's a noticeable step up even for a lawn that didn't need a reset to begin with.
